Southern Research Institute is acquiring BioCryst Pharmaceuticals’ Bioanalytical Lab Unit. The acquisition expands Southern Research’s bioanalytical lab services in the area of clinical trials support. The lab personnel will continue working in BioCryst’s research facility in Birmingham, AL but will be relocated to Southern Research’s Birmingham campus early next year.
